The 2010 Ford Escape is a sporty-utility mid-size car along with credentials to suite for weekend off-road outings and urban commutes. Both Mazda Tribute and Mercury Mariner share the standard design with 2010 Escape. It is designed for the purpose of five-passenger seating and also a wagon with four doors, which contains a lift gate with glass opening.

One can find three trim levels in the 2010 Escape - the XLT, XLS, Limited. Both front-wheel and four-wheel drive are supported by this wagon. It is using a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The towing ability of the engine is 1500 lb, whereas the models with V6 engine has towing ability about 3500 lb.

The safety features are front and curtain side airbags, anti-breaking system, antiskid system, and traction control system. The extra features are heated front seats, a navigation system, leather upholstery, voice activated control of Ford's Sync for MP3 players and cell phones, and rear-obstacle detection. The rearview camera is addend in the additional features. A special key using in this car can able to control the volume of the audio systems and manipulates the speed of the vehicle.
