The gods, led by the spirit, honour faith in their worship, Faith is composed of the heart's intention. Light comes through faith. Through faith men come to prayer, faith in the morning, at noon and at the setting of the sun, 0 faiths, give us faith!"

SAMA VEDA –"Brahmn is at once Shabd (Aum) and Ashabdboth, And Brahmn alone vibrates in space."

SAMA VEDA –"The solar rays drive away diseases/ Dispel malignant thoughts/and keep us away from sins."       

SAMANASUTTAM –"Anger dissolves affection... Therefore, man should subvert anger by forgiveness."        

SAMANASUTTAM –"Art of Forgiveness Man should subvert anger by forgiveness, subdue pride by modesty, overcome hypocrisy with simplicity, and greed by contentment."

SANKHAYANA ARANYAKA –"Even as Brahmn can change form and move at will, so amongst all beings can he change his form and move at will who is a Comprehension thereof."

SANTI-DEVA –"If one cannot bear the small suffering of the moment, then why does he not put away the wrath that will bring upon him the agonies of hell?... But this pain that wins me the Enlightenment is of brief term; it is like the pain of cutting out a buried arrow to heal its smart. All physicians restore health by painful courses; then to undo much suffering let us bear a little." 

SHUETASHUARA UPANISHAD –"Meditate and realize this world is filled with the presence of God."  

SHUETASHVATARA –"One should know that nature is surely maya and the ruler of maya is the Great Lord. This whole world is pervaded by beings that are parts of Him."  

SHVETASHVATARA –"Health, a light body, freedom from cravings, a glowing skin, sonorous voice, fragrance of body, these signs indicate progress in the practice of meditation."  

SHVETASHVATARA UPANISHAD –"He is fire and the sun, and the moon/ and the stars. He is the air and the sea/ He is the blue bird, he is the green bird/ with red eyes; he is the thundercloud, / and he is the seasons and the seas/ from his divine power comes forth all this/ Magical show of name and form."  

SURANGAMA SUTRA –"Things are not what they appear to be: nor are they otherwise." 

SURANGAMA SUTRA –"Your mind, having become diseased and bewildered because of the false sense conceptions accumulated since beginning less time, has developed many desires, attachments, and habits. From these there have arisen, incident to the ever-changing processes of life, arbitrary conceptions concerning self and not-self and as to what is true and what is not true. These arbitrary conceptions have not developed in a normal way from your pure Mind Essence, but in an abnormal way because of the prior false conceptions that had their origin in the sense organs, like the sight of blossoms in the air that come to diseased minds. They falsely appear to have had their origin in the enlightening and Essential Mind but, in truth, they have arisen because of diseased conditions."

SURANGAMA SUTRA-"Ananda , if in this world disciples practiced meditation assiduously, though they attained all the nine stages of  calmness in Dhyana, yet do not accomplish the attained of Arhats free from the intoxicants arising from worldly contaminations and attachments, it is wholly due to their grasping this deceiving conception of discriminative thinking that is based on unrealities and mistaking the delusion as being a reality.

SVETASVATARA UPANISHAD –"Meditate upon Him and transcend physical consciousness. Thus will you reach union with the Lord of the Universe? Thus will you become identified with Him who is One without a second? In Him all your desires will find fulfillment. The truth is that you are always united with the Lord. But you must know this."                    

SVETASVATARA UPANISHAD –"Thou art the dark-blue bird and the green parrot with red eyes, Thou hast the lightning as thy child. Thou art the seasons and the seas. Having no beginning, thou dost abide with all-pervading ness, Where from all beings are born."  

SWAM NITYASWARUPANANDA –"He perceives the universe as the Self itself. As long as there is ignorance, one looks upon the world as the root of all misery and tries to shun or destroy it, so to speak. But with the birth of knowledge of the Self, his vision is changed and everything is revealed as the Self alone."    

TATTUARTHASUTRA –"Right belief, right knowledge, right conduct, these together constitute the path to liberation."

TATTUARTHASUTRA –"The soul which is free from the defect of karma gets to the highest point of the universe, knows all and perceives all, and obtains the transcendental bliss everlasting. Have benevolence towards all living beings."

Crookedness and deception cause unhappiness in the family Straightforwardness and honesty in one's body speech and mental activities lead the family to an auspicious path. Purity reverence, ceaseless pursuit of knowledge, charity removal of obstacles that threaten equanimity service to others — these make the family happy."  

TATTVARTHASUTRA –"Have benevolence towards all living beings, joy at the sight of the virtuous, compassion and sympathy for the afflicted, and tolerance towards the indolent and ill-behaved."

THE DHAMMAPADA –"Conquer the angry man by love. Conquer the ill-natured man by goodness. Conquer the miser with-generosity. Conquer the liar with truth."

UTTARADHYAYANA SUTRA –"As the fallow leaf of the tree falls to the ground, when its days are gone, even so is the life of men; as the dew-drop dangling on the top of a blade of grass lasts but a short time, even so the life of men..."    

UTTARADHYAYANA SUTRA –"The body, they say, is a boat and the soul is the sailor. Samsara is the ocean which is crossed by the great sages."

VED VYAS –"Adhere there is Krishna, there is dharma, where there is dharma, there is victory Since Duryodhana, leader of the Kauravas, lid not observe dharma, ie did not have Krishna. No Krishna, no victory."            

VEDANGA JYOTISH –"Just as the crest of a peacock and jewel-stone j of a snake are placed at the highest place of body I (forehead), similarly the (position of mathematics I is the highest in all the branches of Veda and Shastra."

VEDANTA –"Raja yoga is the royal path of meditation. As a king maintains control over his kingdom, so can we maintain control over our own "kingdom" — the vast territory of the mind. In raja yoga we use our mental powers to realise the Atman through the process of psychological control."

The void is to be understood as the Primordial Nothingness — the raw stuff out of which all is created as well as the background against which every creation can be discerned."   

VEDIC PRAYER –"Oh God, lead us from the unreal to the Real. From darkness to light. Lead us from death to immortality Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti."       

VEDICRISHI –"Look upon all sentient beings with friendly eyes."
