This sedan has ample amount space for cargo and passenger. Skoda Fabia is available in both petrol and diesel engines. Skoda Fabia is available in 8 different models. Up to date global market has seen 2 generations of Skoda Fabia and third generation of this sedan is about to be release in this festival season. Variants of this sedan are as follows:
Skoda Fabia 1.2 MPI Active Petrol: This is the basic model of Fabia in petrol version which features chrome finished radiator grille, anti glare rear view mirror, steel wheels, air bags, body shaded bumpers and engine immobilizer etc.
Skoda Fabia 1.2 MPI Classic Petrol: this is a slight higher version in Fabia with updated features like central door locks, rear wind screen with washer and wiper etc.
Skoda Fabia 1.2 MPI Ambient Petrol : This is the higher version of Fabia with some added features like steel wheel, storage space on front console, chrome lining on radiator grille, silver finished interior, DIN audio system, ABS, EBC and MSR.
Skoda Fabia 1.2 MPI Elegant Petrol: This is the top end model of Fabia with some additional features like ivory interiors, halogen projector lights, automatic door locking in the case of overrun and illuminated console.
Skoda Fabia 1.4 PD TDI Active Diesel: This is the basic variant under diesel category which is installed with advanced features like attractive interior, complete folding of rear seats, front air bags, engine immobilizers etc.
Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDI Classic Diesel: This model is slightly higher than previous model with some added features like rear wind screen washer and wiper, central door locks etc.
Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDI Ambient Diesel: This is the top model with extra added features like alloy wheels, mirror defogger embedded with timer, DIN audio system, ABS, EBC and MSR.
Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDI Elegant Diesel: This is the top variant under diesel variant with some extra features like ivory interiors, bi-halogen head lamps, illuminated instrument clusters and automatic door locking.
Engine:
Skoda Fabia is offered with both petrol and diesel engine. All the 8 variants will be armored with either 1.2 L MPI petrol engine or 1.4 L PD TDI Diesel engine. Both engines will be incorporated with 5 speed manual gear transmission.
1.2 L capacity engine will be incorporated with 3 cylinders. This 1.2 HTP engine is capable of generating 51 KW power. This engine generated 108 N/m of torque at 3000 RPM and 70 BHP of power at 5400 RPM.
1.4 L capacity petrol engine is capable of producing 70 BHP of maximum power at 4000 RPM and 155 N/m of torque at 1600 to 2800 RPM. Diesel engine of this sedan is incorporated with electronically controlled Direct Fuel injection system which enhances the performance and mileage. This engine satisfies Bharat Stage III emission norms.
Exterior and Interior:
The exterior and interior design of this sedan is very appealing and attractive. Compact looks of this sedan is enhanced by tight roof, chrome bar, projector head lamps and alloy wheels with broader dimensioned tyres. Exterior looks of this sedan is a fine blend of design and graphics. Extra bit of style is offered by black shaded pillars. The looks of this sedan looks more robust and dynamic with the help of head light and front grille. The tail light cluster houses LED brake light, turn indicator and reverse indicator. Skoda Fabia is a compact sedan which can easily accommodate 5 individuals. The exterior dimension of this sedan are 3992 mm of length, 1498 mm height, 1642 mm width, 2462 mm of wheel base diameter and 135 mm of ground clearance.
Interior of this sedan is offered with high class fabrics and advanced instruments. The interior of this sedan is much attractive due to dual toned fabric design and multi textured seats. The instrument console displays time, temperature, fuel level, distance traveled and average speed range. Suspension system of this sedan offers high standard of stability, it is offered with McPherson strut in front and rear with torsion stabilizer with compound link at rear. Sound braking system with front disc brakes and rear with single piston floating capillaries. Braking system of this sedan is armored with Antilock Braking system, Motor Speed Regulation system and Engine Braking System.
