Parallel cables.  This is responsible in transmitting data in unidirectional bits. 

Applications.  Cable assembly may be applied in different forms.  Included in the list are audio-visuals such as radio and television, imaging like cameras and networking like those in computers.  Various fields are also making use of this system including telecommunications, military and medical industries.

Connectors.  Connectors for cable assemblies may vary according to gender.  The choices range between male to male, female to female, male to female.  The most common examples of connectors include BNC, DB, internal pin SCSI, DIN, RJ and USB.

Cable assembly is capable of withstanding even the most extreme environments.  This may include low or high temperature, shock, vibration or humidity.  Grounded metal is significant to hide the cables in order for disturbing signals not to interfere with the output.
