Fiat Linea is a sedan by the Italian car maker Fiat. The car was first launched in March 2007. The car is sold in several countries of the world including Eastern Europe, Latin America, India and Middle East.

Linea has replaced another Fiat product Marea. Based on the Grande Punto platform, the car was designed by Fiat Style Centre. The sedan is similar in size to other small cars like Opel Astra, Ford Focus and Renault Mégane.

Fiat Linea was launched in the Indian car market in both petrol and diesel options by Fiat in January 2009. The launch in both the options has helped in the sales of the car. Linea has sleek design. Fiat manufactures Linea at its manufacturing plant based at Ranjangaon near Pune.

Fiat Linea is a good example of the Italian styling. The interiors are quite good looking as well as comfortable. The car is powered by 1.4L, 1368cc, Fire petrol engine that delivers 90bhp power at 6000rpm and 115Nm torque at 4500rpm. The car gives out mileage of 15 km/liter on highways, 10.5 km/liter on city roads and overall it gives mileage of 11.4 km/liter.

The versions of Linea available in the Indian market include Fiat Linea Active (Petrol), Fiat Linea Dynamic (Petrol), Fiat Linea Emotion (Petrol), Fiat Linea Emotion PK (Petrol), Fiat Linea Active (Diesel), Fiat Linea Dynamic (Diesel), Fiat Linea Dynamic PK (Petrol), Fiat Linea Dynamic PK (Diesel), Fiat Linea Emotion (Diesel) and Fiat Linea Emotion PK (Diesel). The base model Fiat Linea Active (Petrol) is sold at the price of around Rs. 6.1 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Fiat Linea has overall length of 4560 mm, overall width of 1730 mm, and overall height of 1487 mm. The 4-door car can sit 5 persons. The high-end version Fiat Linea Emotion PK (Diesel) has various features like air conditioner, power windows, power door locks, power steering, anti-lock braking system, driver air-bags , passenger air-bags, immobilizer, cup holders, folding rear-seat, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, central locking, steering adjustment, tachometer, child safety locks, front fog lights, rear defroster, FM radio and CD player.
