OEM Fog Lights: Enhance Visibility with Better Quality

Lights in the vehicles are made to increase the visibility on the road especially in night time. In general lights at vehicle are sufficient to cater visibility needs but sometimes when it comes to fog then they doesn't suit much. And this creates a problem for the vehicle to see in the fog. To get a solution for all such problem various companies has introduced Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) lights. Idea behind generating for lights is to reduce the glare that occurs while you are driving through thick fog. When you flips on the headlights in the fog then water drops in fog revert the light back to you. So you are going to receive most of the lights back which creates a blind patch in front of your eyes.

OEM Fog lights are angled downside toward road at an angle, so when it returns back it goes back on the road. In this way, light is not reflected back to your eyes, without blinding you. Color of the use has no bearings on their use in fog. Generally it comes in yellow color or other color is not recognized as patterned fog. There are some instructions as well for installing a fog lights. First, park the vehicle at the road level, then slide underneath the front of the car so you can reach the back of the bumper. Mount the OEM fog light underside of the bumper. There likely to be a mounting fog for the fog lamps already.

Feed the wiring back and up through the engine along the driver's side so that it is out of heat and moving part. Feed the fog lamp through the firewall. The best place for this is likely at the steering linkage. Insert the control switch into mounting position on the dashboard. Test the fog lights, and then park the car ten feet above a garage level so that you can fix it up the OEM fog light. Project a beam on the surface.

There are variations in this procedure according to vehicle. So before going to final decision consult with the shop owner or repairmen about the success in your knowledge about the installation of the fog lights. OEM Fog lights light up the small section on the road. Yellow color light is some how capable of showing some glare in the fog.
