What Are Third Brake Lights?
What are 3rd brake lights (lamps)? Yes, as the name implies, these lights are used in automobiles for sending the car's braking information. But why are they called 3rd brake lights? This somewhat is related to their position on automobiles.
You know a car usually has a normal pair of brake lamps that are positioned on the right and left edge of the car's rear. The so-called Third Brake lamps is mounted higher than the normal brake lamps, usually in the center of the deck lid or spoiler.
