A Halo headlight is also known as Angel Eyes. These projector styled headlights provides for a more concentrated or a more direct light beam. This means that the halo headlights give out a more luminous, direct, and intense beam than your ordinary car headlights. The halo that is found in the headlight acts as a running light and is usually wired to the circuit wire of the park light.

Installing the halo headlight is pretty easy. First thing for you to do is to buy epoxy glue from any local home depot. You will notice that the halo will have some wire, two red wires and two white wires that are sticking out. These wires are used to hook it up to the LEDs that are found inside the headlight. Using the epoxy glue, fill up the holes with just the right amount so much as it will not drip inside the headlight itself and then set it aside to dry. The glue will keep the wires in place so that they will not pull against the LED. If this happens, one of the four rings of the headlight will burn a fuse causing it to turn black. This will be non-repairable and you will have to buy a whole new set and not just replace the burned out light.

Remember to install resistors on the halo headlights otherwise, the halo lights will burn out. Install a ½ watt 330 or 300 ohm resistor to each red wire and each black wire. Making sure that the wattage is the right one will limit the excess current of the LEDs. For this you will need four resistors. Look for both the positive and negative wires by splicing the side signal wires in two. Once you have found them, connect them to the red and white wires that are sticking out of the halo headlight. This means that two red wires will connect to the positive wire on the side lamp and the two white wires will connect to the negative side of the headlight.

Do remember that the halo headlights are reversed. If the halo headlights turn on only with the high beam switch, you will have to cross the green-orange wire and the green-brown wire with the car's headlight connectors.
