Instead of using a heated filament to make light Xenon lights provide light by producing an arc of energy between two pieces of tungsten that then turn gas and metallic salts into plasma(this process is what cuases a slight delay in the “warming up” process). This also makes Xenon lights more energy efficient as they don’t produce unnecessary heat to create their light.
