Domestic violence, in spite of the progress made by the human mind, is a harsh reality that more often than not is kept under wraps. It can be recognized from a pattern of dominating and aggressive behavior demonstrated by an adult towards another.

So far, women’s groups have been the primary protectors of those who are suffering or are facing domestic violence. This is thankfully changing now, thanks to the intervention from religious organizations and medical professionals.
