You will be able to switch flashing patterns with the flip of another switch, and they mount easily to the dash with suction cups, making it easy to attach or remove them as needed, or they can be installed permanently.

If there is not a shop located in your area, you can use the Internet to research different companies that supply Dash Lights for emergency use. Look for things like alternating flashing patterns, the wattage of the bulbs, colors of the available bulbs, and the warranty with each light you are interested in. Besides being able to mount the light on the dash, some can be placed in the rear window if you prefer, but in general most police officers choose to mount them on the dash of the vehicle.
