Maintain Your Car to Get Best Resale Value

You have recently purchased a new car and you are obsessed to keep it clean. After all, you don't want your car to look like used cars: full of crumbs, dusty, and with coins wedged to the beverage tray. The maintenance of new car is much simple and easier because you are going to start with a spotless vehicle that does not have any problems like upholstery and rusting tears. If you follow the given tips into your car maintenance daily routine, car will remain brand new for many years. The car maintenance manual will provide different things to keep your car run smoothly on road. It also guide how often you have to do those tasks and with what kind of fluid. Some of most common car maintenance tasks are given here. First of all check the oil level at least 4 times a year. Check the brake fluid on daily basis, especially if you feel some difference in the brake pedal. Try to check auto transmission each month. Clean the engine after every one or two years. Refill the coolant/antifreeze and check the tires regularly. You should keep a small bag for trash and dispose it every week. 

You should use a car cleaner to clear the dashboard, inside door panels, steering wheel and any other firm surfaces. This should be performed on weekly basis; it will keep these areas neat and provide protection during sunlight. Try to clean any spills as early as you can to prevent bad smells. Avoid smoking and eating in your brand new car, be careful to food bits that drop on the floor or any flints of cigarette that fly off within the car. You should avoid parking car in tight places. Even if you do not tap the other's car bumper as you are parking, there is good chance for other drivers to bump into your car while trying to get out of space. In a parking place, select a space that has empty surrounding on each side. This will decrease the possibility of brushing other cars as you enter parking area.

Checking tires on daily basis will make driving safer and consume less fuel. You may check the tire expansion with the help of tire pressure gauge. Remove the tire cover and place this device onto the valve; add air to match the normal level. Try to align and balance tires every year or when you purchase new tires. You may check the thread wear by measuring the inner tread to the level of tread markers; if you see it lower than tread markers, tires need to be changed. Car maintenance also includes the replacement of windscreen if there is any small crack. Purchasing new cars makes it simple and easier to keep your car in good condition but these tips apply to all cars. There are many drivers that concentrate only on driving and their insurance coverage and neglect car maintenance. If you take some time and check things like leak and oil level, you can easily prevent unnecessary damage and expensive repair bills.
