The '68 is a second generation truck which was built in the year 1967 and 1972. Apart from changing the grill, the GMC C/K model remains the same. The GMC suburban and Chevrolet is the wagon version of C/K. The C model comes with two wheel drive whereas the K model comes with all wheel drive. The C models come with coil spring trailing arm suspension and the only truck which was released in the year 2009 is the Dodge Ram 1500. The K model trucks have a lot of horsepower. The previous models had 283 horsepower, while the Chevrolet has redesigned their engine by providing 307 horsepower. The 305 horsepower V6 engine comes only in GMC suburban. There are different transmission options like turbo-hydramatic three speed automatic, four speed manual and powerglide two speed automatic. The second generation C/K was very popular with hit radders. The V8 engines were only used in GM trucks to provide the consumers a wide variety of wheel choices.

They have redesigned the S10 and now it looks like a SUV. GMC manufacturer calls their mid size version as GMC S15 Jimmy. But the truck lovers or the consumers know this vehicle as a Jimmy.

The Chevrolet Silverado which was sold in the year 1985 is a part of the family of trucks and it is known as C/K. It was manufactured by GM as Sierra under the GMC badge. There is not much difference between the GMC Sierra and 1985 Chevrolet Silverado. These vehicles are very popular in the market. It is not that difficult to find these vehicles in the market as they are plentiful.
